How it’s scored
- Right winner: 1 point (2 in a rivalry)
- Name the score: 3 more if it's exact, 1 if each team is within 3
- Called the upset: 1 more when 25% of fans or fewer picked the winner
Picks lock at each kickoff. One pick counts on every card its game is on. The national card is every game with an AP Top 25 team, set Monday and never changed by a later poll; a conference card is every game its teams play. Every board scores one card, so everyone on it is judged on the same games. How the competition works
